The battlefield spans five parishes in Leicestershire -- Sheepy, Higham on the Hill, Stoke Golding, Sutton Cheney, and Witherley -- and has been a registered battlefield since 6 June 1995 (Historic England reference 1000004). The Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, at Sutton Cheney, interprets the site and its history for visitors.
